
The Realme GT 8 Pro will go on sale in India in the third week of November, almost a month after it was unveiled in China as part of the Realme GT 8 lineup on October 21. Through the phone’s dedicated microsite, the Chinese manufacturer disclosed the precise launch date in India. The handset is confirmed to be equipped with a Hyper Vision+ AI chip and the flagship 3nm octa core Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC that powers its Chinese counterpart. A display with 2K resolution has also been teased. It will come with a 7,000mAh battery and support for 120W wired fast charging.
Confirmed: Realme GT 8 Pro’s India launch date
The technology company with headquarters in China has confirmed that the Realme GT 8 Pro, its upcoming flagship smartphone, will launch in India on November 20 at 12 p.m. IST. The phone-specific microsite has been updated to reflect this change. This is consistent with previous rumors that the phone would be released in the nation by the end of November.
The Indian version of the Realme GT 8 Pro’s specifications have been teased by Realme for some time. The smartphone is confirmed to be equipped with Qualcomm’s most recent Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.1 onboard storage, as previously mentioned. A Hyper Vision+ AI chip is also tipped to be present in the phone. The phone will be equipped with a 7,000 sq mm vapour chamber (VC) cooling system to maintain thermals.
It will be equipped with a Titan Battery of 7,000 mAh, which is said to provide up to 523.2 hours of standby backup, up to 21.3 hours of YouTube video playback, and up to 7.66 hours of Battle Grounds Mobile India (BGMI) gameplay. It is said to support wired fast charging with 120W Ultra Charge. “All-day power” can be obtained after 15 minutes of charging, according to the company.
Realme UI 7.0, based on Android 16, will be included with the forthcoming Realme GT 8 Pro. It will have Ricoh GR Imaging and a triple rear camera setup for photos and videos with interchangeable camera modules. It will have a display with a resolution of 2K, a peak brightness of 7,000 nits, and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz.
The Realme GT 8 Pro will also arrive in India with an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance. The phone will have a metal frame, a hole-punched cutout for the front-facing camera, and a weight of about 214 grams.
